Is there a way to show a directory tree with the files included? Windows Explorer can show a folder tree on the left, but puts the folder contents on the right. I want a single tree with files and folders.

    Hi

I am using Total Commander for years. It's absolutely the best files manager i know (xp explorer is really boring.Years ago, Windows 3.11 had developped an elegant one named Winfile with multiple windows/ really good. In this past time, Windows users was invited to put their hands into the engine. This is over right now. Here is if you want a Windows NT version, working under XP (but with some limitations if i remember). (no installation: direct exe.)(and no viruses)
      Download WINFILE.ZIP

        Hi,
I use UltraExplorer since a year and for me it's the best:

Mutliple tabs, columns display (like on Mac), filters, thumbnails preview, very easy to use, etc.

While you are collecting them I prefer Directory Opus . I you can view folders and their contents in the same window - but it's not technically a folder tree as you can't selectively close folders. On the other hand the view and find capabilities are exceptional and you may not need to do that.
