      Hi guy's,

I just got sketchy physics have no clue how to use it except for
making joints but that's using the joint maker so I don't really know
where to put the hinges and all and how to make them work!

Can anyone please tell me how to connect a moving thing that can be
      controlled(Via Control Box) to a non-moving thing.

And I want to know how to make a safe and stuff like that!

Okay, so, you make a rectangle in a door shape, upright. You place a hinge, (purple), on the top of the door on the axis you want it to spin from. e.g. if you want it to spin around from the center, you would place the axis there, and if you want it like a door place it at one of the sides.
Now you want to tell SketchyPhysics that you want that hinge you have just made to work on that door you have just made. So to do this you select the tool to the left of the one that says 'UI', (I dont know what it is called.) Select the hinge. Now holding down 'Ctrl', click on your door. Now they are linked. Press the 'Play/Pause' button. Click and drag on your door and see it spin! An example is attatched.

I d/l'd the example, and it falls apart when I hit GO. I put in a floor as well.
I joined a hinge to a door, now both fall down when touched.
Does a hinge HAVE to have 2 sides to attach? I've seen examples of something rotating freely in space. How is that done?
To me, the example seems incomplete.

            StarWarsKnower; My bad!

I tried your example in the older version. It works as advertised in SP-2.0b1.
But I would appreciate some info on the settings you used.
