TIN Round Ring (60 Sides)

Final TIN component for now. It takes just a few minutes to make these rings so if someone would like one with more than 60 sides let me know. The image shows an example of the very smooth shapes one can make with the higher-sided rings.

apolgies, i'm about to be really thick.
what exactly are TINs? is it a plugin for sketchup or an already built in feature?
are they easy to manipulate, as they seem like the kind of thing i would love to experiment with.any help much appreciated!

They are Triangulated Irregular Networks of faces that are used for surfaces that curve in multiple directions. Take a look at SketchUp's Sandbox tools.
