The UI wont work

whenever i start up sketchup the UI wont show the shapes and stuff, so i cant easily make anything

That dialog is from the SketchyPhysics Plugin, not a SketchUp dialog.

Yes. Close the UI with the UI button (as opposed to just closing the window). Then it will stay off.

That is how the UI looks if there are no objects selected. Try selecting an object and see if it updates. If not there must be a bug somewhere.
