With all the crap that happens to unwanted animals and big cats I can't believe somebody is genetically engineering another one. Also it looks like it could easily kill a regular domesticated cat and probably some dogs too.
-
Kinda creepy too. But I bet my little kitty could beat them up -- 22 pounds at 1 year old, still has another year to grow and will reach 32 pounds. No genetic engineering, just a straight Maine Coon Cat (the oldest american breed).
-
LOL! My sister has a maine coon too, big cats but no brains.

Trying to contain myself...there is a below the belt joke in this somewhere...

I have a Maine Coon, he is not that big though. However when he wants to he can wrap his entire mouth around my wrist, and he likes to bite. He thinks it is playing.
He is about 15 years old now and has lost about 5 pounds since his prime.
His name is Fred. As in boofredlay. -
i've always wanted a tiger and now is my chance

Can you imagine the size of the litter box for a cat that big?!
-
Can you imagine trying to get a cat that big to use a litter box?
I would potty train it. -
Considering two of it's progenitors are wild cats, it probably has strong predatory instincts. Wonder what it would stalk? Mice? Birds? Other cats? Small children?

Maine Coon! First I've heard of these cats. I have learned
that there is a UK Maine Coon Club but nothing here in Ireland.I found this interesting link,
