I don't have MAC APPS.... got avi?

no it's an evil little program that is always running and asking to be updated... and even if you turn off everything it's still there running and every update resets all the settings...
-
No Kriss, you can actually customize those things (though truely need to be aware what to "checkbox" during the install).
It does not run with my XP all the time - only when needed
-
like I said, I know about those and when you update it resets and it's always running in the background. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe ... me+spyware look for qttask.exe anyway... I want to see the intro...
-
Kriss, on MY SYSTEM it is not running in the background, believe me!

I won't be contributing... camera shy 8OChicken!! Kris - qttask.exe is the QuickTime update task. You can have it not start with Windows. I too do not like processes like that. I mean, who has the kahonies to make the decision that a piece of entertainment software is SO CRITICAL that there must be a background task running 24X7 looking for an update. It's annoying. It's clutter. It consumes resources. It slows startup. I almost feel as if it's a privacy issue. If iMovie output to WMV or AVI, or FLASH, I'd run another export, you for you big guy. Todd

well I was going to install it...
but it needs XP or Vista to run... and I on 2000 ProI wasn't going to let anyone think I was chicken...
