There are a lot of great TV shows out there at the moment. And seeing that the new season just started I tought it might be interesting to get your views upon which TV show is better:
Right off the bat we got the two titans in the TV scene:
Lost and Heroes
Both AMAZING shows, in fact the most popular shows at the moment, which one get's your vote and why?Next up:
Family Guy, American Dad and the good old simpsons.
2 shows both by the same guy Seth McFarlane and the simpsons. They all air on the same day. But which one get's your preference?Also two Satiric Semi Comical Drama's
House and the newcomer Californication.
Who's boss here?Im trying to keep the shows which we are comparing in the same catogory and level of popularity, so next up I give you:
Scrubs and The Office.In my opinion a bit different in genre but still very comparable on a popularity level.
The 4400, Battlestar Galactica and of course Stargate Atlantis.
Also very comparable are our next two:
Prison Break and 24
One show I don't know personally of this one but next up we've got:
Naruto and Avatar, the last AirbenderAnd last but not least:
Weeds and Eureka.
So that covers the big shows out there, so let me know which one is better and especially WHY? And if you haven't seen more than half of these shows, let me tell you, you are missing out BIG TIME here. All of the above a grade A entertainment (though the last 2 are open for discussion but that's between you and me).Let me know I am very curious to see which one you prefer.

I once saw a couple of the Simpsons but I have never even heard of the rest (don't laugh, seriously!
)
I watch TV maybe once or twice a month and even then just to fall asleap soon not to remember the next morning what I saw the night before.
I don't even have cable TV - all I get is three national channels and a local TV by my aerial. -
You should be ashamed that youve never catched even an ep of Heroes or Lost
. The best shows out there, the simpsons is nothing compared to those two. Seriously try to youtube for an episode, itll be worth it! -
I still remember when we (I mean my parents and us, kids in my childhood) did not even have a TV set. And when we finally got one, there was only one channel (and some "Yugoslavian" ones) that we could see. And there was no broadcast on Mondays (probably that's when the baby boom was being produced).
I still don't miss TV that much (I could have the cable - I just don't subscribe). But at least I read two or three books a week...

Family Guy over the Simpsons, funnier!
House over Californication, Hugh Lorie (sp.) is awesome as House!
The Office over Scrubs, Scrubs is just off the wall goofy. IMPO
Prison Break over 24, I'm tired of listening to Jack yell ALLL THE TIME!And somehow you left off My Name is Earl, f****** hilarious!
Oh, and I never saw the first seasons of Lost or Heroes so I don't like to jump in the middle of the seasons. I'll have to rent them and see what the hype is about.

Battlestar galactica on top of my list.
I saw the old one as a child and those cylons used to scare the living sh*t out of me.
The new series is great stuff and a lot more intriguing.Off course 24 and Prison break is always fun as the adrenaline levels keep high the whole time.
