Courses in the UK

Thing is, I'm completely self taught and I think having some formal qualification on my CV will help demonstrate my level, also I want to know how much I truly know and my ability. A bit self indulgent I know but hey why not.

Actually, I have been thinking of somehow acquiring some kind of formal paper or something like that for there is a chance for me to give some classes.Yeah, we should find it out.

I've wanted this for a long time! I think there were one or two SU one day courses ran in the UK by @Last pre Google.They ran it London and Leeds. At the time I couldn't afford it, I thought the price was steep for just one day. If there isn't a course out there, couldn't we try to write our own course and get it accredited by an official examining body?

Actually I'm now working on an experimental project at our university (Pollack Mihály Faculty of Engineering) in which I would actually teach 3D visualization to students of architecture.
If I succeed, I'd also like to do it partly by "e-learning". Would you join?
Actually I should also finish a course there for my own paper - I just don't know who to learn from here.

Boo, ideally we need accreditation from a recognised educational authority that quality assess courses. That is what really carries weight on a resume as Tobobo requires.

Any this course, i think Uni of Central England do a short course i'm getting a student friend to look into it for me I'll let you know

The first one looks very good, I'll contact them. They are the first independant courses I've seen in the UK that are accredited by Google. The other Sketchup courses that I have come across have all cost about £200 a day for a fundamental course provided by a trainer with no formal accreditation or qualifications in the subject so therefore unable to issue a certificate of any worth.
The UK Google SU office in Wembley, London seems to be totally redundant, they were running courses a year or so ago but it all seems to have gone quiet. -
Well, the university I posted is an accredited institution - we would just need to get Google to recognise them as an authorised institution to tech SU as a main material.
We should get contacted with the Google guys here.
