I often find myself chatting with a client on skype and I am guiding them through Sketchup operation only to find that there are subtle differences in the layout and tool functions in the two sketchup versions. They are on MAC, I'm on a PC.

One of the leading audio recording programs is Cubase/Nuendo by Steinberg. They have always released a MAC and a PC version just like Sketchup.

I understand that their latest release is a single program that works on either PC or MAC. One download for both platforms.

      Is this possible with sketchup??

I might add - last night I had a threeway Skype conference call with a client on MAC, his Builder on PC and myself on PC. That's when I realised how convenient it would be if we all had the same program.

      cheers
      john

        Hi John,

I don't think it would work because of
the differences between the Win and Mac
        Keyboards.

The attached pics show the differences.

Yes - but they are only minor differences which would be recognised on install surely. Steinberg sells more programs than sketchup, I'm sure they've considered this.
