Well, probably from the times that the expression "porn" did not exist or was used differently
I spend my summers in my cottage in a nice small locality called "Pornainen". The name has "porn" and "nainen" (Finnish for "woman") in it (sharing a letter). Some search engines give interesting results... This name is in fact quite innocent, being a Finnish bastardization of a Swedish name.
Otherwise the Finnish maps are full of geographical features with quite rude (and intentionally so) names!
