James, How do you see the last one? Does the sign "translate" into something funny in English? To me the text just sounds funny but it is utterly incomprehensible
I know the place, it is a medieval watchtower from Tallinn old town, Estonia. Estonian is a sister language to my Finnish, and there is endless fun from the same sounding words meaning totally or almost totally different things. For instance, if I want a cheap bag to carry my shopping home from an Estonian store, I ask the attendant "Onko teillä halpoja kasseja?" If she only speaks Estonian, she will stare at me (if not calling the men in white coats) because I have just asked "Do you have ailing cats?"
