What about pain relievers? (Aug, 2007)

I used to be on Vioxx before it was banned here in the US (not sure about elsewhere). I had some bad joint problems, one of which led to surgery on my shoulder.
I am much better now but still suffer sometimes with joint pain and the occasional headache.
I use Ibuprofen most of the time.
Is there anybody here that has opinions/facts/pro's/con's about various pain relievers?

be very careful people, I recently lost a young friend... I may spell this wrong... but Acetaminaphin destroyed his liver... it failed and he died about a week later... 27
he ate those pain releivers all the time...

Did he see a medical professional at any time? Having to take pain relievers all the time should set off some alarm bells.

I rarely get headaches but when I do, some finger
acupunture works for me.The Point Ho-ko works best and can be done just

Five month i had backpain i think it was something like arthritis and i began to take "cloruro de magnecio" (i know is spanish)and now I do not have more pain. You coul you could search someting about that in the internet because i thouth there are no comercial drug for that.
BTW in your last avatar you look more skinny, congratulation
