...that didn't wreck, surprise-surprise. Working on the CD's of this contractor/developer designed 8-plex when the third try for the entry element elevation came back from the architect, so I did a quickie (same "follow-me" profile all around plus the dormer and entry components...so just over an hour) model instead. Even though he'd told me no model this time: Big Thank You, and another two revision options "put those on the model, would ya" :`)

So I did (I should add this guy likes the "chipboard" study look with minimal detail for design study and client preliminary approval...less subconscious baggage) and on a lunch break whim added some sketchy materials colored up to match: WOW! he said now and "finish it up on the 'back'end too" :~))

Anyway, I like the look too, and will be searching around and/or making a better arsonal of them for future use (since most definitely won't have a wood roof). I even like the way the render came out...whadaya'll think?

Love the render Tom. Although I'm partial to VW Buses that one in the front is quite imposing and maybe too overwhelming. (You look like a VW bus type of guy, could be wrong, just my imagination maybe.) The render is well inhabited, and the trees are awesome as yours are always.

I like the presentation and rendering. The mood and the day seems cheerful and pleasant, it lends this feeling to the house. As a scene it all works well. As a study of that house I also have to say that the bus draws my attention more than the house, it's the placement and the color.

Perhaps reposition the bus and tweak the color or replace with someone on a bicycle?

          Thanks for posting it.

I agree, this is a fantastic rendering yet again Tom. The bus is too prominent however.

And I just cannot get the Queen song "Fat Bottom Girls" out of my head now 😉

Thanks guys...and I agree wholeheartedly about the van. I went looking for a bug (never had a van, Peter, but you gauged me right: 4 bugs with over 100k miles, two of those over 200k...all were early 60's models, and I always wished I had a '67 with a whoppin' 53hp and 12volt electrical) but couldn't find any older than a '68. Love to be hooked up with an early 60's model or even a '50 with the duel rear windows, thanks :`)

Eric, the yellow pantsuit usually comes with a yellow Harley...wish I'd used that instead of the tricycle.

My father owned two VW vans, one white and one blue. I actually slept across the front cab on many family vacations. My first car was a Bug as well. '60's model, baja black fenders in back with an open engine compartment, primer red top, faded blue paint and white seating. Oh the memories.

Its not the lady in red anymore! Its now the lady in yellow... woohoo! (I dont know how to make a wistle sound!) But in all seriousness... I agree with everyone else. The van needs to go.
