Congratulations Richard.
I heard that Sketchup and 'newlywed' are not very compatible

Congratulations..!!
Like Pete just said, Sketchup and 'newlywed' can be a dangerous combination...
But wish you the best of luck..!!
Looking forward to see the pictures of your wedding...
Have you set a date..?? -

I can imagine! Taking my part 3 this year to finally qualify as an architect isn't going to help things either!

We are thinking of sometime around September 2009.
Really can't concentrate on work today - still hasn't sunk in that i'm now engaged!!

Congratulations Richard!

Congrats!

Congrats richard

Congrats. Good for you. I proposed to my wife on a Valentine's day. It comes up every year. You only have to remember every 4th year.

My wife and I just had our 10th anniversary on the 28th. I tried to get her to marry me on the 29th so I would only have to get a gift every 4 years but she did not want to wait 2 years. Oh yeah, and she did not like the idea... go figure.
Congratulations.

Oh, I don't know about that. It used to happen to me all the time...I had to beat them off with a stick.
you must have had a good supply of white silk gloves. (when you refuse on a leap day you must reply with a pair of white silk gloves)
-
Actually the leap day is the 26th. But surely 29th only happens in every 4th year and who cares about calendars...
-
Yes, John. I had to start my own silk farm; it was getting so expensive.
I was going to say that I'd like to see someone attempt to propose during a leap second, but it looks like they are due to be killed-off in 2013...leap seconds, not the proposers, that is.
-
It was suggested that we wait until the next leap year for the wedding, but my fiancΓ©e didn't really appreciate that idea!!

Congratulations Richard!
