    Hi Guys,

Some of you car nuts may remember that I mentioned the Venture One some time ago http://www.flytheroad.com/. I've been following its progress as I think this vehicle would be ideal for personal transport for one plus one. It looks like there will be a Hybrid and Electric versions. I would have preference for the electric version ..... all I would need is a wind powered electricity generator ๐Ÿ˜„

The latest is that they are moving along at a steady pace and have developed some mockups,
version 'C' and 'D'. They have survey going to reach a decision on the best option .....
    what do you think?

    Mike

      Top picture = regular model
      Bottom picture = sports model

      Looking good though.

Juju, I agree with what you say. The bottom model is a more streamlines version of the top model. However if either of these 'fly' by at 100mph I doubt that anyone could tell the difference.

I was more interested in the detailing around the back of the Venture One. I liked the idea of the rear window opening BUT I think it is essential that there should be an option to remove the roof for summer weather. There are some further pics on this that I will post later on.

        Thanks for your feedback.

It looks ever so like a Carver One. So much so that if I were involved in either company I think I'd be talking very firmly to the other about plagiarism.
[edit - read more about the venture stuff and noticed that they actually have a relationship with Carver]

A friend has a Carver and I got to ride in it last summer. All I can say is Wow! Want one. However, fortunately for my bank balance they're not available in Canada yet.

Yes Tim, the USA guys are under license from Carver. They are also talking about having the V1 into production late '08! And at looks like a good retail price, $20K. Not bad for such a complex hand built piece of kit. A Carver would cost me over $40K delivered to Ireland ..... not worth it! But the V1 could be brought in for the $20K mark as there would ne no taxes involved due to the Green policies for hybrids now being implemented here.

            So just maybeeeeeee ๐Ÿ˜‰
