STRIMMA Floor Lamp

Hi Guys,
This is the IKEA STRIMMA Floor Lamp by K & M Hagberg. The blurb says 'Gives soft mood light' and I think it actually does. The model is based on the picture with overall sizes. I imagine it should be a useful component for some PR rendering!

Nice model Mike. It's deceptive, at first it looks like a simple model but I bet it took quite a bit of figuring out.I've just opened the groups but it's not clear what your workflow was, perhaps you could explain?

Good to see someone using the Strimma. Yes it looks simple and basically it is a simple model. The workflow? I can't remember exactly what I did. However I will recap and do a few screen shots as soon as I have a few minutes to spare.

I actually have one of these and yes they are soothing, they also have a dimmer switch that I found fascinating as they use fluorescent bulbs (also available at Ikea) ... and it works without flicker.

I was impressed with the soft light from it also. And yes the
dimmer is a great addition as I have place it behind / to one side
of a TV.
