got a call from a friend to build this single speed for one of his clients... and it turns out its for an nba player..one of the Sixers...haha.. nothing too exciting, but it was what he wanted...black, carbon fiber, simple... delivered it to his huge house in the city yesterday..hung out a bit and fitted him to it its a Leader frame...spinergy wheels...those are the highlights.
(sorry for the crappy background in the pics..it was raining and had to do it in the garage)

Verrrry nice!
You say "carbon fibre", but it's an aluminium frame with CF forks isn't it? Did you actually weld the frame? I see lugs for the rear brake- is that in case he decides a fixed rear wheel is too hardcore?
My old mountain bike had Specialized CF handlebars- sooooo light, but soooo stiff. It was brutal to ride with Pace RC10 rigid forks too- I loved it though!

sorry jackson..i wasnt too specific.. i meant carbon fiber accessories...and noooo.. i did not build the frame...the frame is aluminum and from Leader bikes...i barely have the skill to assemble a bike..haha....but its fun picking out all the parts... and yes, i left the lugs for the rear brake b/c its actually not fixed.. just in case he feels the front brake isnt enough..i personally run two brakes on my single speeds and none on my fixed..but hey, to each their own

I used to run a front break on my fixie, but it was a 30 year old Mafac center pull, so it was close enough to muscle braking only. Single speed is for people who compromise, and I'd run two brakes on those too.
