Mission Style Clock
-
Last night I got an e-mail from a high school industrial arts teacher in Los Angeles. He was looking for some help on a mission style clock. Here's what I drew for him. Actually, I kind of dressed it up for the picture. After getting a bit more information from him, I'll be making shop drawings so his students can build this clock as a project.

nice model dave, could i ask how you did it?

Thank you. What part do you want to know?
-
post processing i suppose...

Ah, ok. Post-processing involved cropping the JPG and letting Google Picasa do an automatic contrast adjustment. It's a trademarked process I invented but I'd happily sell you the rights to use it.

Pre-post=processing involved adding my Old Paper style to the model before export. You can get the style here: http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=2624

Looks great Dave. The grain is especially nice. I do notice that the shadow lines are sharper than the rest of the model.
