its kinda grooovy... but... what is it?
the sky looks like some one stirred it with a spoon!...
the sponge material (is it?? ) ROCKS!!! -
I'm an architecture student from the Netherlands, the first two pictures ressemble a roof. It's possible to see how it's build and which elements are used. The yellow stuff is insulation which keeps the inside tempeture comfortable.

Excellent, you've done an important thing here and proven that SU is capable at construction detailing. One thing your brick skin doesn't look right in section as the texture is making it look like there is more than one brick width. I model the bricks individually when detailing sections.

Loving these Stefan! I always enjoy seeing detailing, but have not seen any rendered like this.
It is something I must try myself.Have you done these for a Uni project, or just for fun?

looking past the brilliant renders i'm amazed at the details themselves. im an architecture student in the uk but have been working in practice for 3 years. are these details from a specific company or have you came up with them?

I made them for a subject there is no company involved. I made the details in AutoCad first in 2D, then I exported them to SketchUp, finally I rendered them in Vue 6. Which is in my opinion a great render program!
The insulation was a bit tricky to do, it's a yellow rock structure
Yes something went wrong with the bricks at the roof detail. There was something with the scale.
I'm glad you liked them I'm planning on making more details in the near future. Maybe a window detail or a detail at the door entrance.Greetings,
