It's just like a mini mall

what I'm working on.
c&c welcome - as always, I appreciate the many trained and critical eyes roving around here.

Very nice.
I was distracted by the fuzziness in the first image.
The second image is very nice. The only thing I would say is: other than the sky, it needs to be lightened up just a bit. -
The second one looked best to me. The only thing that jumped out to me was the flag. Didn't look quite real.
Just what the world needs one more mini-mall .
-
That looks really good.

Nick, Very nice job!!! The third image is taking some nice steps. A couple of suggestions....
- more depth on the building and roof
- some kind of color break on the parking, such as lighter or darker "streaks", tire marks, etc.
on another note... I really like the line work and texture

Living Rooms, Bett Rooms.... Dinettes!!
Flea Market, Montgomery!!
It's Just like, It's just like.... a MINI-MALL!
Hey, hey!Sorry Nick, that title reminded me of the you tube video
-
Really good. The only thing that jumps out at me is the feathering on the edges. It has a different effect depending on the background. It's great in the sky, but looks odd on the blacktop.

Thanks for the helpful and encouraging suggestions everyone It gives me some new ideas to try out next time around.
Tina, when you talk about depth of the building and roof, do you mean via shading?
Cheffey, I was wondering if anyone picked up on that. Funny story, I have some friends who were on a bus trip that went through Montgomery and they convinced everyone that they should stop to see Flea Market Montgomery. I guess Sammy made a "grand" entrance up on a balcony and made his way down to the group on a big staircase. He had called a local news station and they came and interviewed one of the guys from the bus. Sammy kept up the show the whole time. The story reminded me of Slurms McKenzie from Futurama (the story of a worn out star behind the glamorous front, a slave to the company).

Slurms McKenzie
How funny you mention that one. That is my favorite Fururama episode.
My wife and I were heavy into drinking Mt. Dew at the time and when that episode came on we referred to Mt. Dew as Slurm from then on out. Still do. :egrin: -
i just through some darker color in really fast (don't CC too hard, lol) but you get the idea.
-
Nick, that story is awesome. The local Chattanooga radio station had weekly interviews with him for awhile. He's definitely a business-minded individual.
-
Tina,
Thanks for the illustrative example. That's helpful.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Here's another go at the wc-ish style.
