Cool software like on CSI ?

On CSI-Miami last night I watched as they took a blurry image from a cellphone and 'enhanced' it . . zooming in to read the telephone number on a business card lying on a table 100 feet behind the person in the image. Exactly what software does that? Mr Wolf?

I'd like one but scary. All this surveillance is great in some ways but who watches the watchers? That technology in unscrupulous hands is a very powerful tool.

I think Gordon Brown is a big brother nutter. Anyway doomsday aside good to meet a fellow British northerner here! Although you are fair bit further north than me. Whereabouts in Scotland? What is your line of work? I designed the Playground audio visual department in Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh - although I think it is now leased by Alessi. I visit Scotland from time to time.

No kidding! That was my Part I placement project- I was on the design team with Comprehensive Design Architects for the Harvey Nichols/Multrees Walk/Bus Station project for 16 months.

I think there was a different architects practice dealing with each floor, we were liaising with with Lifschutz Davidson.

Lifschutz Davidson are a great firm- I knew they did the restaurant on the top floor, buit I wasn't sure about other parts. They've done some great housing in London which I always try to visit when I'm down there.
Comprehensive Design did the actual building and the others in the development, I guess the fitout architects were all chosen by the tenants.

Wow they make a good deal! I was employed as an interior designer/architectural technician by The Playground shopfitting contractor Joe Taggart Installations. I'll post a visual (pre-sketchup) when I find one on disc.
