Well, I don't think that <he> would mind me mentioning this here, especially if it helps anyone out.

I just spent 4 days trying to slay a virus and have finally done it. The rambling story is here http://wagonlife.blogspot.com/ with some cryptic instructions, I will post a proper step-by-step how to kill once I have a chance (hopefully tonight) with links to the appropriate programs.

Why should you care (or why post here?)
I got this virus from <an upstanding member of the past 3 forums>, it uses MSN and your contact list to send an innocuous looking file to your contacts (who wouldn't trust <him> - right?) <he> didn't even know it happened until after.
If you share MSN with folks from here, there may be a good chance of infection, and this virus is ugly to remove, it thankfully doesn't do tonnes of damage though.
I am posting this here, because I'm hoping that it will help anyone who may have fallen prey to it as well as me.

Whether they find a life there or not, I think Jupiter should be called an enemy planet.

As Chris mentioned: it must have been a great fun! 😄

But seriously speaking; thanks for sharing this - I'll be more cautious with file sharing.
