just so as you guys do not think i spend my day cooking up tough SU problems for you to solve, i am posting a tiny job i am doing for a relative.

it is a space to be used as washroom and patio. size: 2,40x2,10m. tiny, isn't it? it is surrounded by walls but open to the sky.

as proposed, 40% is to be used for laundry purposes (this is where the sink sent to me by gully went), the rest as a deck. i am contemplating a direct connection to the kitchen but need more info from the "client" to do that.

      cheers.

          james,
they would be protected from the rain by the plexiglas roof. and, since the room is the bottom of a light well, there is no way to steal them from there.

mike, you are right. and, being the design a gift to the owner, i have more freedom to suggest what I think is best.
