      I downloaded the scripts from http://www.sketchup.com/?sid=79
      However, they all said to require a file "sketcup.rb". I found that file on another site. But then I finally notice the red bold text:

      @unknownuser said:

      *NOTE - PLEASE READ!
      Google SketchUp 6 users: Please note that at this time, previous versions of the ruby scripts sketchup.rb and LangHandler.rb can NOT be used with Google SketchUp 6.

      The scripts seemed to work fine. So can't I use "sketchup.rb" with SU6? seems to be working fine...

        With certain rubies it gives some error afaik (I remember the issue when SU6 was released). However I'll move your topic to the ruby discussion for the guys more frequently visiting there know the exact answer.

          You should have already had sketchup.rb in your SU V6 /Tools folder. If it is not there, I would suggest you re-install SU V6.

          As Gai said, each version of SU provides its own tweaked copy of sketchup.rb, and a sketchup.rb from V5 won't work very well with V6.

            Ah right! I wasn't aware that there was ruby files in the Tools folder. I only looked in the plugins folder. Gotcha!

              I think the plan is to move all native SU rubies to the Tools folder and leave the Plugins folder free for 3rd party stuff. There are so many rubies now that the temptation is to simply copy the entire Plugins folder when you upgrade, rather than reinstall them all one at a time. When I tried this on the V6 Beta test, including sketchup.rb, langhandler.rb etc. it proved fairly disastrous. 😮
