about 10 months in the making.. we finally got to test our VW Corrado we've been building up.. its 99% done... and will be 100% for our first track day on Friday.. we dragged it out of Brooklyn to a stadium lot in north jersey for testing before we hit the track..
the car went from this..
to a shell..
and to this, ultimately
we're very excited..testing went great. two of us did all of the work..if anyone wants anymore info, i have a gillion pics..haha..

we hit the track on Friday and the car performed great! way faster than we expected and after a bit of adjustment on the rear end.. it handled like a champ...pics and vids to come soon!

What tracks you running on?
I raced at Watkins Glenn (500km Firestone Firehawk Endurance Championship) in a Honda CRX. Formula ford at IRP & Road America. And SCCA in MI at Waterford Hills & Gratton.
I haven't had any seat time in a while, want.....er....need to get back into it soon!!!!
Have fun,
Glenn -

WOOT WOOT. Love it! Is that flat black on the top section? If so...very nice. The gold Volk's (they are the real deal right?!) look sweet and are probably the crazy lightest wheel I have ever picked up.
Oh man...you make me want to get out in my garage and finish working on my Z. I've only had my Z on one track for fun and that was Laguna Seca...which was crazzzzy fun.
Anyway, nice job!!!
-
those are actually kosei k1's.. painted gold.. they are about 14.5 lbs.. volk's are way too much $$ for this car
and yes, the top is indeed painted satin black
i'd loooove to take on Laguna Seca.

few more pics from the day...

Is that you stalled on "no-name"? I dig the Wilwood calipers! Sweet!
Looks like a lot of fun! Gotta get my GP bike out to Colorado and show these guys my rear tire. Wink
