Hey!...Joe..!..?

No Corner Bar is complete without the humour and commonsense of one Joe Wood!
Joe, I see you finally signed up.....its time you dropped in to say Hi
-
It took you long enough, Joe. We've all been hanging out here for weeks.
-
hi guys .. nice of you all to be thinking about me. well, all three of you anyway.
sorry, I've been lurking stealthily around all my forums lately, not posting much at all.
Nice to see you again though!
I was wondering where you were hanging out Alan, the old forums seem so empty without you there.
here's a good one!
A blonde was playing Trivial Pursuit one night. It was her turn. She rolled the dice and she landed on Science & Nature.
Her question was, "If you are in a vacuum and someone calls your name, can you hear it?"
She thought for a time and then asked, "Is it switched on or off?"

Welcome Joe,
-
Good to "see" you Joe... will we actally see you?

http://woodsshop.com/MoonGate/MoonGate1.htmsorry, I usually don't wear a hat.
hey Stu, know anything about this picture? Gotta be in Oz somewhere cause that's a kangaroo!
EDIT- ahh, "Send me an email when a reply is posted"
-
I don't know if thats a roo or not but by scale that is one freaking huge ass snake... looks like 40 plus feet... this is fake or something is a miss... maybe thats a baby roo... I don't even know what type of snake that is and I know alot of snakes... most can only support 1/3 of there body... so what ever he has hanging out should be about 1/3 to 1/2 of his total length...
-
I scaled the photo in SU assuming it's an adult roo and medium build his tail is about 5' long... that puts the section of snake that is actually visible at 27'-30'
that is one big snake...
-
Joe and Kriss,
That sure is a weird pic. I can only guess that it is somewhere in northern Oz....maybe the Kimberlies, where there are a lot of rock formations.
Its a bit hard to work out a scale with that image...but the animal is probably a wallaby....which could be a 1/4 of the size of a kangaroo....but still looks like a fair meal
Stu

if it is a wallaby that would make me feel a whole lot better about our place on the food chain ladder...
-
Welcome Joe ..... liked the joke
-
Welcome Joe- you make this place feel even more homely!
