No wonder the picture is so bad - that hanger cannot work too well as an antenna 😲
      Nice results though... πŸ˜‰

Tilt the hanger antennae more to one side, and add a Beta cassette player.
        Looks great.

I remember when I was a kid and I would go to a friends house and they had a tv with THIS antenna but they would just keep adding tin foil until it got reception. Maybe that is the issue here! πŸ˜„

yeah ...I was just about to ask myself. It does look like displacement to me.
btw. I remember those antenas as kid....another way to enhance reception was to spread the foil on the curtains.

hmmm..aluminum foil is not a bad idea πŸ˜‰ might just have to try that πŸ˜„

and yes, that is indeed displacement for the rug.... i've had yet to give it a whirl and wanted to see what happened.. it significantly slows down the render...but is definitely really cool.. now if i could only figure out how to make my own materials..lol

To tell the truth I have a kind of antenna even now. I don't watch TV only really occasionally (like once or twice a month) so I don't want to subscribe for cable TV.

Now as mine is torn off the TV somehow, I hung it on a lamstand the glass lamshade I had broken years ago...

It looks really cool (even without the aluminium foil - but that's a really cool idea actually)

                        Jason,
This is fantastic. I love the fake wood look that you achieved, and the glow/reflection that you have is just about right.

Love it - I had one of these when I was gr 4 -7 in my room. Channel knob was broken, so pliers had to be employed to change the channel, the volume was busted, so I used an old microphone as a minispeaker (to keep the volume lower) and Christmas lights were connected to the antenna - totally ghetto!

Whether they find a life there or not, I think Jupiter should be called an enemy planet.

Very nice. I remember those well. I remember the "custom cinder block" furniture line as well. πŸ˜„

A suggestion? How about a power cord?
