Wow - okay, well I might as well post a render. Many days without posting an attachement, and now I go crazy - 2 within a couple minutes. The story on this one, well I am doing this on the side, it's for my website and that's about all I can tease you with until you see the post one day "New Website up"
Comments - sure - tell me about them, I just wanted to post on the VUE section of the forums. Coen is the man - I haven't even heard of some of these programs he's listed!

Naw, Naw. Fuzzy lighting is called "this render looked kinda plain - let's try a ps filter"
The filter in question is either the Virtual Photographer from Opticverve free and for PC
      http://www.optikvervelabs.com/
or something like softlight from Xero - also free and also screwing macs over again sorry fellas

Thanks for the comment though - there is lots of room for improvement - I'll say that much, but I am pretty happy with the image too.

        Shaun,

I love it! This is just a very nicely put together scene and render and that over-exposed look is great- I've been meaning to try it on some Vue renders. Ironic that the very qualities that I try to banish from my photography I try to emulate in renders.

Only criticism would be that the letters on that wall look a bit flat. Not sure why that could be when the rest of the render is so good.

And as you said- a Vue/SU forum- HOW GREAT IS THIS?!

Me thinks your model would be a perfect environment for:

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark allies, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

Jackson, thanks for your comments- too kind. I agree with the letters, but don't know what to do about them, Maybe a copper or platinum face on the letters? or - do you have any ideas?

I have since changed that horrible walkway to more of a rock/cement look and want to change the lettering before I set up for final images for the website. Any feedback on the letters appreciated though... I really don't know - I guess the other thing I could do is enhance just the letters in PS on a different layer so that they stand out more?
Cheers - I bet we will see each other in here often! Hopefully Fletch is gonna be around too (and not cheating on VUE with that Hussy KERKYTHEA.)

<EDIT - Paul - just saw your post and SNAP you are right - that could be really cool - and I need some interest on my grounds. I wonder how many millions Bruce would charge me to install it on my gallery compound (in make believe 3D space) - Bruce you there - how would you like an installation on my grounds?
