Quick model and 15 minutes of painting in Photoshop. Just for fun... πŸ˜„

Fits exactly my current mood-I just stopped watching an old Miyazaki anime movie with my daughter

This is really great, any chance of seeing some shots of the SU model?

Very nice. The SU model would look good on its own I bet.

I really like the rust texture. Is this something you create in PS? Is it difficult?

              Thanks all.

Dylan: to be honest, the SU model is nothing much to look at - as all the details (corrugation etc) are painted on, not modelled. So the SU model is just a collection of primitive shapes really.

The rust: Very quick to do - once you've created some custom brushes in PS. I created some a while ago, using a photo of rust patterns to create some random brush shapes. Then it's just a case of layering up the colours.

cool have a look at photographs taken by Bernd and Hilla Becher it could be inspirational for you. Your model and image reminds me of their photography, If you imagine it in Black and White that is.
