Hello all,
Thanks for a very useful forum and thanks to all who are sharing their knowledge here!
have been using the free version of SU for about a month and am getting the hang of basic modeling.
i am modeling an addition to a church and would like to show it on an image from google earth.
i open google earth and zoom to the site, then in SU, under tools - google earth- i select "get current view"
the image imported is a lower resolution and in greyscale, not color like what i am looking at in earth.
i have not been able to find any settings to adjust the quality of the import from google earth.
thanks in advance for any clues! -
Welcome to the forum, Mike.
Getting the image from GE is always going to be B&W, it's still useful for geolocating your model and getting terrain. Here's a bookmark I've got for adding color to your GE terrains in SU, hope it helps...
