      Hi,

Apparently the old gallery threads are gone so I decided to bring this old one up again.

To test the new Fry release (beta v1.9),I launched this rendering yesterday night just before bed time.

      This was the morning fruit:

They are not. they are all going to be transferred here so just relax... 😄

BTW nice work again. Both modelling wise (yeah, we all know that) and renderwise also!

          Great!
          Thank you for test render!
          Is it(fry) 64 bit(not plug-in) or ...?
          Have you use any proxy-elements?
There are some noise at arcs of roof...need more render time-exposure...

Here's one I did a few weeks ago with Indigo. I added the crucifix from the 3D warehouse.

This is shrunk down (and cropped) from the 1600x900 version which can be found here:

                That one still rules !!
I like the way you simulated that glass. A bitmap texture as emitter?
                I should try that.

                Awesome image.

Maybe good though not "news" 😄
Just read Coen's announcement again here (what will and what cannot be transferred).

BTW - that's in the (old "pro" - now just) SketchUp Forum that has fully been transfered already. 😒

                      I should try that.

Actually, it is sunlight that is penetrating the window. The window materials are a simple diffuse material with the SketchUp opacity set to 65.

Using the texture as an emitter probably would have rendered faster and looked almost identical, though. Never thought to do it that way 😄

I would have commented on your image, but my office always blocks your links 😠 . Nice image! You are a pro when it comes to composition! I see some strange uv errors. I wonder if there are some issues there with the Fry exporter?
