Mac/Win handy utility: JING
-
today i came across a very handy screen capture little app called Jing. it allows one to capture images and videos and annotate them without having to open another app. it is very easy to learn (there is not much to learn, really) and it is FREE.
this is their site.
enjoy it!

Good find Edsun,
I'll make good use of this for Google Earth demonstrations.

Free for the time being, at least.

So, what does it cost?
It’s free for now!
Yeah, didn’t think you’d let us slide with that last answer… so … here’s the deal; Jing isn’t a product right now—it’s a project. What we’re trying to do is give this to the world and figure out whether it fills a need or provides a useful service. We’re asking for both your participation and feedback on this concept, so the least we can do is provide the Jing Project complimentary during this period. As we learn what you want from this, we’ll have a better idea what the pricing and business model might look like in the future.

i would not mind paying a reasonable price for such a useful app. it is more than fair that people get something back for their creative effort.

Sounds like a good plan

Thanks for sharing Edson. I think this could be a little gem of a utility. BTW I enjoyed the video presentation, very well thought out and put together.
