    it may have been asked before - any SIMPLE way to make an icon appear next to the plugin menu item?

      See the Command and Toolbar classes.

          Well, how big of a dumb ass are you?!! There are examples under the doc for Command#small_icon and #large_icon. Cut and paste either of those (they are the same) into a Notepad session and give 'er a try.

          If you need more help, come back for round #3!

            i was thinking to put icons onto the organised ruby menu - you know..tools, draw etc..

            in any case i'll give it a try - after all how much of a dumb ass can i be? 💚

              I don't think the Plugin menu will show the icons associated with a Command.

                yes i thought so - was thinking to organise my plugins menu but went up in a ballon...
