    Hi all
    Astral Bench
    Designer: Per Borre.
The unique Astral bench was designed in 1979 and has won a host of awards for its sculptural shape and innovative construction. It comprises only two repeat elements that go together to create the back and seat. The construction forms a semi-circle whereby the bench bears its own weight and creates a unique seated sculpture. The bench is made from lacquered maple or ash. It is also available oiled teak for outdoor use. Astral is also made as a straight bench.
    Regards

Very nice model and especially nice design. What holds it together? From pictures I saw on-line, there is some kind of connection at the extremes and the center, but I couldn't tell if it was a cable with a spacer, or bolts, or what.

          Good Morning, Mateo and SchreiberBike.
          thanks.
SchreiberBike, Do not I know for certain, but I believe that are put spacer between the pieces and intended with an cable.
          Regards.
