Automatically calculating heights
-
I'm trying to design exterior decks that use pedestals, as opposed to joists. To do this, I have to create a grid pattern for the pavers. An adjustable pedestal is placed at each of the 4 corners of a paver. The substrate is sloped, so the closer I get to the drains, the taller the pedestals will be. I'm trying to find out if there is a way in SketchUp to have these different heights automatically calculate when I drop the grid pattern over the substrate. Is there a plugin that could help me with this? Currently what I have to do is manually measure each pedestal (from the substrate to the bottom of the paver). This is time consuming and my boss wants me to speed up the process. Any help is appreciated.
