Fredo license invalid

I foolishly I guess, relocated my Fredo licenses to a new location on my hard disk and now when I use the tools I get the message that my Fredo license is invalid.
How can I fix this? I can't remember where I installed the license from, I assumed it was from the Downloads folder. I copied the licenses back to the Downloads folder, but Fredo still complains.
Where is the best place to put the license files so the program can find them?
