Problems after the last update

I have a group. I press the "M" key to move, I select a corner, press the ctrl key to copy. Move the new copy. And stop moving. Now, if I go back to the copy I just made, press the "M" to move, I see that I have two copies not one. I don't remember the "M" key and the ctrl key behaving this way.
Anyway, before I caught what was going on, I had a lot of two copies, one on top of the other.

Part of the update was that they changed the way this works, they made it a toggle. So now you have to tap and tap again to turn it off.
You'll notice differences with the eraser tool and some others as well.
It isn't the most popular 'improvement' in the history of sketchup. -

Now, I have to check and recheck to make sure I haven't added dual groups. I guess I should thank the Sketchup personal for the increased work.
Now the question is there a plugin to find identical groups sharing the same space?

You don't have to turn them into components, but it will highlight the identical groups after selecting one and choosing the command in the contextual menu.

Thank you. Will look into using this.
Right now, I am trying my best to modify how I use the move/copy. I guess I just need to get with the times and lean new moves. However, I well need to continually check my work as not to add to much BS groups.

Thanks for this information, we are JUST starting to use our 2021 version and and i was having the same problem. I know this and the other changes mentioned here are written down somewhere. can you direct me to that list?
