      Hello Sketchuppers,

Looking to up grade my mac for a new window laptop computer.
I am wondering if anybody is using Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition using Sketchup?
I was looking for a Nvidia RTX 30 SERIES but at the moment very limited brand available.

This studio edition is using NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000, it is a bit pricey but justified.
I will be using 100% sketchup for Modelling then either Thea,Vray,Enscape, Twinmotion or Lumion Plugins
      for rendering and animations.

I am sure that this card is capable Quadro for my needs, but not sure how Sketchup will behave?
I normally get a gaming cards not sure about this.

Any advice will be great full. Cheers and keep safe.

It uses OpenGL 3.1 for display, it is 2009 API and this card is a new one so I do not see a problem.
The card itself has 16GB of VRAM so you are so well of for rendering on GPU, happy for you! 😎 👍

          Thanks for your input Nlipovac
Yes, VRAM Is 16GB I think that is a plus for rendering.
My alternative choice is MSI WE75 RTX3000 32GB about $1800 cheaper, but I don’t have any idea about MSI.
So far Razer is the best choice and similar to MacBook design.
          Thanks again.
