Picture Frame Miter Sled [WIP]
-
Thought I'd show something I've been working on this morning while the coffee is seeping in.

It's a tablesaw sled for cutting picture frame miters based on one in an article in an old issue of Fine Woodworking Magazine. The wood grain materials are hand drawn and the scale was done in LayOut.

Cool !

After you show how you hand draw in SketchUp you can show us how this thing works. I don't see a motor or even a touch screen on it!

Ha Peter!
FWIW the sled goes on the table saw. I didn't install the runners yet. The stop allows you to cut to the length at the inside of the rabbet so all you need to know is the size of the artwork to accurately cut the molding.
