laboratory table.pngIt was way too hot for yard work today, so I stayed indoors to make this model. It's a laboratory table, made in France in about 1900. The original is made of oak, with ceramic tiles on the top and five drawers on each side. It's more than nine feet long. I based the model on images from the 1stdibs.com web site. The model is fully detailed; all the drawers open, and all the joinery is there.
    Enjoy.

Nice work, David. I've seen other long tables like that and wish I had the space.

Thanks, Dave. With a table this big, you might as well park it someplace and build a room around it.

That would make the next owners happy, wouldn't it?

Nice model. Maybe Madame Curie had one.

Thanks, gentlemen. I suppose I could look for a glow-in-the-dark texture to make the table Mme. Curie's.
