Virtual gallery / Museum ? What to choose ?

Hi all !
As a young designer, I have to make my own website to show my works. Normal.
But I was wondering about a virtual gallery to present all my works, paint , photos , object , that I could create into sketchup , and embed in a web page , or something like that.I used to play with LumenRT a few years ago, but I can't remember if such a project is simple to realize.
I'm asking for help, because I want something ludical , where people could open their eye enjoying a cool environement with my works in, and if possible, and avoid them to download a 3go file....
