Two examples of clean, modern dining tables. On the left is the Serenissimo table, by the late Italian designer Leila Vignelli. On the right, the Kimono table by the U.S. designer William Earle. The legs on Vignelli's table are cement-coated metal. Earle's table is made of walnut drums (probably veneered), connected with a massive walnut beam. -
