Shipping Timber US to France

I have a customer in France who'd like me to ship one of my Azumaya Kits over there. Are there any restrictions on shipping kiln dried western red cedar to France? I know there's paper work when shipping to Canada, where would I start my research??

Please, also inform your customer he will have to pay customs and VAT including on the shipping.
