The design of the house is awesome. I agree, The plants and rocks would be better in more random placement and size. Otherwise good. Just a thought. Is the fire tapped directly from the desert for fuel?

I would agree with you both, landscaping is one of my weaknesses, I get so eager to complete a house idea that I don't spend enough time with landscaping, I think I need to read some books on it.
I spend a lot of time trying to make houses that are unique in their shape sometimes i forget small things can be seen as big things. I will work on it with the next one

I am not sure about the fire, i work for a custom home developer in palm springs I will ask about it and get back to you
