I have a Spacemouse Pro Wireless and a CadMouse.
Both work fine with earlier versions of SketchUp (SU). I currently have 2014 Pro, 2015 Make and 2016 Pro installed on my work machine. All with the latest maintenance releases.

The problem I am having is that neither device is being recognized by SU 2016 Pro. If I have Outlook open and SU 2016 open, the settings window recognizes Outlook, not SU. If I have Firefox open, it recognizes Firefox, not SU.

If I close all programs except SU 2016, the settings window says "No application selected" (see attached image).

I have reinstalled the latest driver several times and reinstalled SU as well.

      I am at a loss.

I have posted this problem on the 3dConnexion forum but they do not appear to be very active. Any help would be appreciated.

      Thank you.

the 'plugin' is loaded into each SU version when you instal the 'driver'...

if the SU version wasn't there at the driver instal time, it can never see it...

reinstalling the driver should fix it...

As I mentioned above, I have reinstalled the latest driver many times without a fix. Each time it was with 2016 installed.

Just now I completely uninstalled it and reinstalled with no luck as well as did a repair install with no luck. Computer restart each time.

sorry I didn't read your first post more diligently...

on a mac, it installs the plugin into a folder that 'can' have permission issues, it may also do that on your PC...

can you find it's plugin files on your system?

is the plugin listed in 'Ruby Console' if you type in $"?

I ended up totally removing it, permanently...

Ok, thank you for making me dig john.

I checked the Ruby console, did screen captures of 2014, 2015 and 2016. Checked the file locations and did screen captures of all three as well. Then I checked (after all that) the extensions window in System Preferences and the 3DxSketchUp extension was unchecked.

Sorry for the bother, thanks again for making me dig.

              Runs away happy. 😄
