    SketchUp practice this morning.

The panels are loose and can be rearranged.

Designer is known or it's an imaginative model ?

I don't know the designer but it is based on a real table.

            reitveld red blue chair.jpg
Interesting piece. The way the legs and stretchers criss-cross reminds me of the Gerrit Reitveld red-blue chair.

David, I was thinking of Rietveld, too. At least there are some halving joints in this table. 😄

I modeled that chair a few years ago and did a child-sized version which a friend of mine built. I guess it was well-received but I wonder how comfortable they are.

                Dave,
An old friend had a neighbor make a reproduction of the red-blue chair. It's pretty comfortable.

Is it like an Adirondack chair? Difficult to get out of once you're in it?

As I recall, the chair was pretty normal--easy to sit in and get out of. The arms were just in the right spot, too.
