Great big baker's cabinet

Another piece I spotted on the 1stdibs.com web site. This one is a massive baker's cabinet, made in Germany in the first decade of the 20th century. (It's more than 6 feet wide and 8 feet tall. Must have been in a busy bakery.) The original had a finish of well-worn blue paint, which I couldn't duplicate in Sketch Up.

A wonderful piece of furniture - and well done!
These cabinets could be found in many kitchens here and were then replaced by the upcoming '50s modernism. The one was lucky, who could find these cabinets again in the basement, where Grandpa kept his tools.

As you can see, the original looks pretty gnarly. I wish there were an easy way to render aged or primitive pieces. I suppose I could create a style. . .
