Area tool

It would be very useful to have a tool to measure area in layout. Schematic plans can be quickly made in layout and sent for design development.

Probably not what you mean, but you know if you use the label tool and click on a face of the sketchup viewport, you get the area of that face?

I'm voting with you mate! I do all my floor plan design work in layout and the ability to measure off areas would be heaven! And yes TommyK, it's not quite the same request!
