should those be anonymous?
this site isn't much of a fight or popularity forum which seem to be the places best suited for upvoting.. but you don't (or shouldn't) really win threads in information/idea based forums.
most of the time when i give a thumbs up, i wish the poster could see it
like-- i don't want to make a separate post "yeah, what TIG said" or "+1!!!111".. but at the same time, i wouldn't mind if a thumbsup wasn't anonymous.
