Drawing Table

This is based on a drawing table from the 1930s. The original is in fumed white oak. I just did it this morning for practice. I got lazy and decided not to apply a wood grain texture to it.


Here's the lid support. The knob reminded me of an old fashioned water faucet knob with the porcelain center insert. Maybe that's what they used.

Actually this is like an art table I got for my wife years ago (albeit that was simpler in design). Nice model! I like that there's a stationery surface and side drawer for setting tools as you work.
